Oxy Wants to Produce ‘The Perfect Smartwatch’

A British start-up called Oxy has launched an Indiegogo campaign (http://tinyurl.com/q9dgrtd) to raise money for a new smartwatch (also called Oxy). The watch has a 1.39″ 400 x 400 AMOLED display, protected by Gorilla Glass. It is able to connect to any iOS, Android or Windows 10 smartphone, and will be available in circular or square designs.

A dual-core 1.2GHz chipset runs Android 5.1.1 ELF, with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage (more RAM and storage than smartwatches from Apple, Huawei, Motorola and similar). Standard smartwatch features, such as an accelerometer and gyroscope, are built in. The device is said to last three days on a single charge. At the time of writing, Early Bird pricing starts at $240, and the campaign hopes to raise $250,000.
