The OUE Tower in Los Angles is the 13th tallest skyscraper in the USA. Its lobby now boasts a 38.5m x 5.2m curved LED videowall, which it claims is the largest and highest resolution digital art feature west of the Mississippi. Silicon Core’s 4mm pixel pitch screen can be seen from the street as well as in the lobby. With 12.2 million pixels (8,500 x 1,440), video content can be 4k, 6K or 8K resolution. The videowall has a 2,000Hz refresh rate and claimed brightness of 2,000 cd/m². Silicon Core was chosen as it met the low heat generation and power consumption criteria.
