An over-the-air demonstration of an UltraHD TV broadcast will be shown at CES 2016, using the ATSC 3.0 standard. The signal will be sent from the Sinclair Broadcasting transmitter, near Las Vegas, to various TVs across the show floor – much like the earlier demo in December (Sinclair Uses ATSC in UHD HDR Demo). The video will be encoded using an SHVC codec and will feature HDR data.
