Osram Light Group recorded Q4 net profits down 10% to €40 million from €44 million a year ago on turnover of €1.03 billion, up 13% from €909 million. For the year profits were down 48% to €275 million from €532 million on revenue which rose 9% to €4.13 billion from €3.79 billion. The company was pleased with its strong performance. It is in the final stages of starting a joint venture with Continental for intelligent automotive lighting solutions.
