Alen Wu, VP of Oppo, has said that – since it was launched on the 17th March – an F1 Plus (Oppo R9 in China) smartphone has been sold every 1.1 seconds, on average. This means that around 7 million units have now been sold. Wu said that Oppo’s knack for creating effective promotional campaigns, distributor relationships and its technologies all contributed to the phone’s success.
