OLED monitor shipments are set to grow 69% YoY in 2025, according to new data from TrendForce. The market is expected to expand from 2.8 million units in 2024 to roughly 3.4 million this year, fueled primarily by high-end gaming and creative industries.
The rapid growth follows an even more aggressive 132% surge in 2024, signaling that OLED monitors are no longer niche products. Gamers in particular are driving demand for ultra-high refresh rates, some upcoming OLED gaming monitors will hit 500Hz in 27-inch form factors.
Samsung Display (SDC) and LG Display (LGD) dominate the OLED panel supply. SDC has scaled up its A5 line to meet growing orders, while LGD has raised its 2025 target from 700,000 to 800,000 panels, with potential to hit 1 million units if demand continues.

Major gaming brands like ASUS, MSI, and Alienware are expected to expand their OLED offerings in the second half of 2025. Analysts say that as production costs decrease, OLED will increasingly displace high-end LCDs in the monitor market.
“With esports and content creation pushing visual performance to the limit, OLED’s fast response time and perfect blacks are unmatched,” TrendForce noted in its latest report.
