Ocean Outdoor and BBC Three are combining to show TV content on city centre Wi-fi-enabled screens in the UK. BBC Three hopes that this will give them access to “light” TV viewers – those who are out and about more and using mobile devices. Within this group are 13- to 24-year-olds and black minority ethnic viewers, and BBC Three wants to offer viewing for free or via iPlayer download.
