An UltraHD software update has been rolled out to Nvidia’s Shield STB (Nvidia Reaffirms Move to Gaming Products With Streaming Console). Although already supporting UltraHD from local sources (via HDMI), software update 1.2 enables the box to receive and display UltraHD content from Netflix; the Google Play Movies app; and Google’s own Photo and Video apps.
