Not All S6 Phones Are Created Equal

Samsung has said that the camera sensor on its Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge can vary from model-to-model. Some S6 handsets use a Sony IMX240 sensor, while others feature Samsung’s own ISOCELL sensor. Both are 16MP units, and Samsung said that users should not notice a difference; however, SamMobile says that the Sony sensor captures more accurate colours in bright conditions. The Samsung sensor is more accurate in low-light conditions. The use of a Sony sensor likely points to stock issues for Samsung.
