JCDecaux holds the advertising rights at London’s Heathrow Airport and in recent years, the DooH portfolio has been steadily expanded, including a dedicated DooH network, especially in the vicinity of the business lounges. As an example, Terminal 5 uses 15 fullHD totems positioned in the access areas to the British Airways’ first-class lounge.
Now this DooH network has been expanded with the installation of a 6 m high LED totem with 3 mm pixel pitch positioned at the entrance to the First Wing. This new advertising medium is marketed as “The Golden Gateway” as it will be seen by up to 2,000 passengers daily being British Airways First-Class cardholders and Gold Card members and their guests.
Samsung is the first advertiser to use the Golden Gateway and includes banner advertising on the runway approach.
