Innolux president JC Wang has said that the company will construct new G8.6 LCD facilties, entering mass production in Q3’15. Monthly capacity is expected to be 40,000 glass substrates. Panels sized from 40″ – 100″ (in increments of 5″) will be produced on the line(s); 23.6″ and 58″ panels will also be able to be produced. Tuan Hsing-chien, Innolux chairman, has also said that the company is evaluating whether or not to set up new facilties in India.
