Netflix, according to The Hollywood Reporter, has shot season three of its original programme, House of Cards, in 6k resolution. Netflix apparently used cameras from Red to accomplish the high-resolution challenge, with Encore handling post-production. Each hour-long episode is roughly 5.5TB (!) in size, although UltraHD versions – a mere 2.5TB – will be delivered to Netflix.
