NEC Display Solutions Europe is partnering with London’s Royal Opera House as part of its Open Up project, to promote more openness, availability and accessibility. The company is providing several display and projection solutions to the venue, situated in Covent Garden.
The venue reopens on September 19th. Enhancements include new entrances, extended foyers and terraces, a new café, bar and restaurant, plus an extensive programme of events, activities and festivals. Performances, displays, collections and display solutions throughout the building have been provided and installed by NEC and channel partner Intevi.
Amongst the NEC solutions is a dramatic 28.5m² 90° curved LED screen in the redeveloped entrance area, an 84″ large-format display in the retail area, four NEC projectors combined as part of a large edge-blending projection solution in the open hall, plus 40″, 65″ and 84″ displays in the café, cloak room and ballet spaces.
