NEC reported Q1 2017 widening of net loss at 20 billion yen ($201.4 million), jumping 275% YoY from 5.4 billion yen ($53.3 million). Turnover was 518.7 billion yen ($5.1 billion), down 12% YoY from 587.3 billion yen ($5.8 billion). The System Platform business, which includes the manufacture of displays, reported a 6.2% decline in turnover at 150 billion yen ($1.5 billion).
