The E203Wi-BK is a 20″ business monitor from NEC Display Solutions of America. Energy efficiency is the name of the game; the monitor uses recycled plastics, features an Eco Mode and carbon footprint meter and is compliant with Energy Star 6.0.
An ambient light sensor, off timer and Intelligent Power Management complete the feature-set, providing the unit with a power draw of about 17W.
The monitor has an attachment point for an optional mount, to which users can attach thin or zero client devices. The monitor’s own mount enables tilt, swivel and pivot.
Resolution is 1600 x 900. An IPS panel with 178° viewing angles, 1,000:1 contrast ratio and 14ms response time is used, with an LED backlight supplying 250 cd/m² to the display. DisplayPort, DVI-D and VGA ports are featured.
NEC will start to sell the monitor in November, for $180.
