Mitsubishi Electric Corporation reported a 53% year on year increase in net profit in the first nine months of the year of ¥145.6 billion ($1.2 billion) on turnover of ¥2.9 trillion ($24.6 billion), which was 9% higher year on year. In the third quarter of the year, Mitsubishi’s net profit was 3.3% higher YoY at ¥47.7 billion ($405.7 million), while turnover improved 10% to ¥1 trillion ($8.5 billion).
