Microsoft Corporations’s Q3 net profit dropped 11.9% to $4.9 billion from $5.6 billion in the third quarter of last year, as turnover increased 6.5% to $21.7 billion from $20.4 billion in Q3 of the previous year. Microsoft’s net profit for the first nine months of the year was down 11.8% year on year to $15.4 billion from $17.4 billion, while turnover was 12.5% higher at $71.4 billion from $63.4 billion. These results include $190 million of integration and restructuring expenses related to Microsoft’s reorganisation plan announced last July and the ongoing integration of the Nokia Devices and Services business.
