Microsoft reported Q4 2016 net profit of $3.1 billion, up from a net loss of $3.2 billion in the previous year period. Turnover was $22.6 billion, down 7% YoY from $22.1 billion. For the full year 2016, net profit was $16.8 billion, up 38% YoY from $12.2 billion, while turnover was $85.3 billion, down 9% YoY from $93.6 billion. Intelligent Cloud led the improvement in segment wise results.
