Mediatek has said that its revenues in January reached NT$21.3 billion ($642.5 million): up 15.2% MoM and 22.1% YoY. The company’s revenues have come under pressure recently due to falling smartphone chip ASPs. This year, it plans to focus on high-end products and optimise its cost structure.
Mediatek previously forecast a 7% – 15% revenue fall in Q1’16.
