Apple has discontinued the original iPad Mini – the last iOS device that the company made without a retina display.
Densitron Displays and ‘Papirus’ have created an electrophoretic display for the Raspberry Pi, called the Papirus. The hardware-attached-on-top (HAT) module is available in 1.44″, 2″ and 2.7″ sizes. A battery, 32Mb flash memory, digital temperature sensor and thermal watchdog are built in. The project was funded on Kickstarter in May, and products will be shipped in July.
The Pebble Time smartwatch can now be pre-ordered worldwide. It costs $200 and will be shipped in July.
