LeTV, of China, has released the first handset with a USB-C port. The Le Max is a 6.3″ phablet with 2560 x 1440 resolution, using a Sharp panel. The device has ultra-thin bezels (0.8mm), dual-SIM slots and colour balance specifically calibrated for watching video. LeTV supplies the device with its own OTT service pre-installed. An octa-coreSnapdragon 810 runs the handset, and the cameras can record UltraHD video at 30fps. Joining the Le Max are the Le 1 and Le 1 Pro, with 5.5″ 1920 x 1080 displays. Bezels are 1.2mm and 1mm, respectively. So far a release has only been announced in China (May) and India, although LeTV has plans to launch some of its products in the USA.

The ZTE Spro 2 Smart projector (ZTE Brings Auto Focus to Smart Projectors) has been released in the USA by AT&T. The projector is available now, for $500, or $400 and $10 a month on a two-year contract.
