Alcatel‘s Onetouch Watch (TCL Transitions From Manufacture to Entertainment) is now on sale. The Watch has a circular face with a rectangular 1.22″ display (240 x 204 resolution). It can be pre-ordered now, for $150.
HTC has refreshed last year’s One M8 flagship smartphone with the One M8s, for those who don’t want to pay the high price commanded by the new One M9. The M8s features a 64-bit octa-core processor: the Snapdragon 615 from Qualcomm, rather than the Snapdragon 801. Android 5.0 will be installed as standard. The new phone also has an all-metal design, a slightly larger battery (2,840mAh) and a 13MP camera. It will be launched this month, for £315.
Mas Elektronik AG, of Germany, has released a new Windows 8.1 tablet running on a quad-core 1.83GHz Intel Atom processor. The Xoro Pad 9W4 is a 8.9″ model, using an IPS panel with 1280 x 800 resolution. It uses a one-glass solution touch panel, and has 350 cd/m² of brightness and a 500:1 contrast ratio. The tablet features a micro-USB port, micro-SD slot and 5,500mAh battery. It is available now, for €135.
