Visitors to LG’s site in North America are finally able to order one of the more unusual display products that we have seen in a while.
It is a portable screen, the LG StandbyMe Go and when it originally debuted in South Korea back in June, 2023, it sold out within just 10 minutes of being available in a pre-sale. That was either a testament to the growing interest in mobile display technology, or because it is a wacky and wonderful product. You be the judge.
The LG StandbyMe Go is an all-in-one, portable 27-inch touchscreen that folds into a ready-bag-style travel bag for easy transport and setup. The screen can be turned on and off simply by opening and closing the case, with no separate assembly or installation needed.
The screen has a wide range of motion, including a tilt of up to 90 degrees up, a rotation of up to 90 degrees clockwise, and a height adjustment of up to 18 cm. It’s a versatile device capable of providing different viewing options based on the environment, whether it’s indoors or outdoors. It can be set to rotate horizontally or vertically, or even laid flat in a table mode.
