Asian sources say that LG Display is raising its monthly capacity at LCD facilities. Capacity at its Guangzhou-based facilities will be raised from 90,000 substrates to 120,000 by the end of the year. Local media reports claim that the deal was signed before LCD oversupply became an issue for the firm.
