LG has announced the imminent global launch of its latest projector, the LG CineBeam Q (model HU710PB), following its unveiling at CES 2024. The CineBeam Q, notable for its compact design and 360-degree rotatable handle, aims to provide users with a flexible and high-quality viewing experience both indoors and outdoors. Pre-orders are being taken now ($1,299.99), with the initial release slated for South Korea later this month. Subsequent launches will occur in the US, Canada, Australia, Germany, Spain, France, the UK, various Asian countries, and the Gulf region starting in April, with plans to expand to additional markets thereafter.
Designed to be both a portable entertainment device and a stylish interior accessory, the CineBeam Q projects 4K UHD resolution images up to 120 inches in size, boasting a 450,000:1 contrast ratio and 154 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut for vivid and vibrant images. Its versatility is further highlighted by the Light Drawing function, which allows for the projection of digital images onto walls, adding to the ambiance of any room.
The projector addresses common portability issues found in traditional models with its Auto Screen Adjustment feature, which optimizes image placement and size, and the inclusion of LG’s webOS platform for easy access to streaming services like Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, and YouTube. It also supports content sharing from smart devices via AirPlay 2 and Miracast.
