LG Display is set to unveil its latest automotive display technologies at SID Display Week 2025, next week in San Jose, California. Using the them, “Driving the Future,” the company plans to present a lineup of next-generation in-car solutions and experiences. The company is saying that a highlight will be its stretchable display, a flexible panel that expands by up to 50% without compromising on resolution or color, merging touch controls and display functions into a single surface.

Also on display will be the company’s 57-inch pillar-to-pillar screen, described as the world’s largest single automotive display. LG Display will also be showcasing its 18-inch slidable OLED display, which rolls down from the vehicle’s ceiling when needed and retracts when not in use.
On the safety side of things, LG Display will spotlight its switchable privacy mode, which lets passengers watch movies or play games without distracting the driver. The company’s showcase will highlight its portfolio of technologies, including P-OLED, Advanced Thin OLED, and LTPS LCD, as well as its earlier commercial launch of Tandem OLED for vehicles.
