Lenovo reported Q3 2015 net profit at $300 million, a 19% YoY increase. Turnover was reported at $12.9 billion, an 8% decline YoY. Not including the effect of currency exchange rates, the decline would have been 2%. Enterprise computing increased 8% YoY while smartphone sales declined 18% YoY. Although the PC group saw declining sales, it achieved a pre-tax margin of 5%, while the mobile group made a pre-tax loss of 0.9% ($30 million). EMEA was 27% of sales, while the Americas was 31% of sales and moved back into profit.
