Lenovo announced its FY17 Q3 result with a consolidated revenue of $12.2 billion and net profit of $98 million, with a net profit margin of 0.01%. The revenue fell by 6% on yearly basis, while the net profit was down 67% from $300 million in FY16 Q3.
The sluggish growth was primarily on account of challenges in the company’s three main lines of business, namely data center, mobile devices, and PCs and smart devices. These industries continued to experience either slow growth or no growth during the quarter ending Dec. 2016.
