Lenovo has announced two new Yoga 900 Windows 10 PCs, including one that is called ‘the world’s thinnest Intel Core i convertible laptop’.
As members of the Yoga line, both of the new products are convertible. The Yoga 900 Convertible Laptop (14.9mm thick, 1.3kg) features a ‘watchband’ hinge, which enables the rotation of the display between laptop, stand, tent and tablet modes. Lenovo’s other product is the Yoga Home 900: a 27″ all-in-one computer with an integrated battery, which can be carried around the home.
The laptop has a 13.3″ display with 3200 x 1800 resolution (IPS panel) and 300 cd/m². A Skylake processor (up to Core i7) runs Windows 10 (rather than the Core-M processor of the previous generation), with up to 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD. Battery life has been extended, for up to nine hours of video playback.
Lenovo is selling the Yoga 900 today, starting at $1,200.
The new AIO PC features an Intel Haswell processor (up to Core i7) and optional discrete (Geforce 940A) graphics. The 27″ display has 1920 x 1080 resolution and supports 10 touch points. Up to 8GB of RAM and 1TB of storage (HDD or SSHD) are installed. Battery life is up to three hours. HDMI and USB 3.0 (x3) ports are featured.
Lenovo’s Yoga Home 900 is on sale now, starting at $1,550.
