LEDs and Moving LCDs Show the Brain

Columbia University has installed a 20′ (6.1m) LED wall fitted with seven 72″ LCD monitors which slide up and down on side by side tracks, sharpening the images behind them. Brain Index shows the human brain and its “mysteries”. When at eye level, the screens are interactive (see this here), allowing individual interrogation of the system. The LED wall is unusual in that the background colour is white. The project was assembled by a team of companies and Brain Index is designed to catch the public’s imagination and encourage learning.
