Epistar, an LED epitaxial wafer and chip maker, announced March 2017 revenue of NT$2.2 billion ($72.8 million), higher by 22.5% on a monthly basis but lower by 0.08% on yearly basis. The company also announced FY17 Q1 revenue of NT$5.7 billion ($188.6 million), which was lower by 9.5% on quarterly basis and 5.3% on yearly basis.
LED packaging service provider, Everlight Electronics, also announced similar financial result for March 2017 with consolidated revenue of NT$2.5 billion ($83.4 million), which was higher by 18.5% on a monthly basis and 3.8% on an annual basis. The FY17 Q1 revenue amounted to NT$6.7 billion ($221.0 million), which was lower by 11.6% on a quarterly basis and 3.5% on a yearly basis.
Another LED maker, Lextar Electronics, reported consolidated revenue of NT$1.2 billion ($39.7 million) for March, which was higher by 29.5% on a monthly basis and 1.7% on a yearly basis. The company also announced FY17 Q1 revenue of NT$3.1 billion ($102.6 million), which was lower by 5.8% on a quarterly basis and 7.4% on a yearly basis.
