AU Optronics posted October revenue of NT$27.43 billion ($909 million), down 5.6% MoM and 9.9% YoY. This brought turnover for the year to date to NT$287.8 billion ($9.5 billion), up 7.5% from NT$267.7 billion ($8.9 billion). Shipments of large panels numbered 9.2 million, down 10.1% MoM and 2.1% YoY.
Innolux reported sales for October of NT$24.7 billion ($819 million), a decrease of 8.1% MoM and 11.9% YoY. The company shipped 9.33 million large panels, a drop of 12.7% MoM and 3.9% YoY.
Hannstar saw October turnover of NT$2.4 billion ($80 million), up 12.9% MoM but down 24.7% YoY. 190,000 large panels were shipped, up 34.8% MoM but down 2.1% YoY.
Chunghwa Picture Tubes announced October sales of NT$3.07 billion ($102 million), down 6.6% MoM and 8.7% YoY. This resulted in year-to-date revenue of NT$28.99 billion ($961 million), up 14.2% YoY. Large panel shipments were 262,000, up 73.5% MoM and 211.9% YoY.
