Largan Precision, a manufacturer of smartphone lens modules, reported February revenues of $112 million, down 9.22% on month, mainly due to fewer working days in the month, but up 69.46% on year.
In the month, 70-80% of sales were for 10 megapixel and above lens modules, 10-20% was for 8 megapixel modules and 10% was for 5 megapixel modules.
To increase production, a new factory in central Taiwan is being constructed to begin manufacturing in the second half of this year.
