Kyocera Corporation has announced its third quarter results, posting a net profit of ¥30.3 billion ($258.2 million) on turnover of ¥387.3 billion ($3.3 billion), which compares with a net profit of ¥26.4 billion ($224.9 million) on turnover of ¥371.7 billion ($3.1 billion) for the third quarter of last year. For the first nine months of the year, Kyocera reported a net profit of ¥73.9 billion ($629.7 million) on turnover of ¥1.1 trillion ($9.3 billion), while for the corresponding period of last year the company’s net profit was ¥69.3 billion ($590.5 million) on turnover of ¥1 trillion ($8.5 billion).
