Large panel shipments were up 3.2% MoM and 11.8% YoY to 21.588 million for the top four suppliers.
AUO reported June turnover of NT$24.83 billion ($812 million), down 3.5% MoM and 13.1% YoY. This brought Q2 revenue to NT$75.05 billion ($2.5 bilion), up 0.8% QoQ but a fall of 11.1% YoY. Year to date sales dropped 13.6% to NT$149.5 billion ($4.9 billion). The company shipped 9.63 million large panels in June, up 2% MoM and 6.6% YoY. As a result Q2 shipments reached 27.98 million, down 2.1% QoQ but a rise of 4.2% YoY.
Innolux Corporation saw June revenue of NT$24.765 billion ($810 million), a rise of 12.6% MoM but a fall of 11.7% YoY. Q2 turnover was NT$66.463 ($2.2 billion), dropping 0.4% QoQ and 21.4% YoY. Large panel shipments for the month numbered 11.67 million, a rise of 4.2% MoM and 16.8% YoY. This brought shipments for the quarter to 31.99 million, up 14% QoQ.
HannStar Display Corporation posted sales for the month of NT$ 1.87 billion ($61 million), down 0.1% MoM but up 16.7% YoY. The firm shipped 198,000 large panels during the month, showing increases of 5.9% MoM and 18.6% YoY.
Chunghwa Picture Tubes (CPT) announced June revenue of NT$2.44 billion ($80 million), improving 5.8% MoM but slipping 3.2% YoY. CPT saw large panel shipments of 90,000, drops of 10.9% MoM and 23.7% YoY.
