Jeep has won the Wards 10 Best Interiors & UX award for 2023, with the new 2023 Wagoneer L earning particular recognition for its “stellar combination of supple materials, comfortable seating, cavernous room, and a plethora of good-looking displays and well-functioning technologies.”
One of the standout features of the Wagoneer L is its advanced display technology, including high-res rear entertainment screens with built-in Amazon Fire TV. The front passenger interactive display, which offers three major functions: Co-Pilot for navigation and device management, entertainment via HDMI or Amazon Fire TV built-in with rear seat entertainment control, and the ability to display views around the vehicle via exterior cameras and interior cameras.
In addition to these features, the front passenger interactive display also has an HDMI plug, allowing passengers to connect their phone or tablet to the screen and use it as a mirrored extension of their device, projecting internet searches, music, and apps through the Uconnect 5 system. The display also features Relax Mode, which is available when the Wagoneer is in park, providing an immersive experience with dramatic, multi-screen visuals and ambient lighting across the entire cockpit.
The Wagoneer is available with up to 75 inches of total digital display screen area, with nearly 45 inches spanning the length of the instrument panel. This includes a 12.3-inch instrument cluster, 12-inch horizontal touchscreen, 10.25-inch horizontal comfort display touchscreen, and the 10.25 front passenger interactive display. When equipped with the optional rear seat tntertainment system, the cluster, radio, and passenger screens all show a coordinated animation display upon vehicle start-up.
