JCDecaux Wins Japan’s Largest Bus Shelter Contract

The Japanese subsidiary of JCDecaux, MCDecaux (85% owned by JCDecaux and 15% by Mitsubishi) has won a tender for the supply of advertising on bus shelters in Tokyo. The tender, which will run for at least 15 years, is the largest bus shelter contract in Japan; at least 400 shelters will be installed before the 2020 Olympic Games in the city. Of these, 150 will feature 32″ touch displays and free WiFi hotspots.
