Innovation Zone Deadline is March 9, 2019 ̶ Apply Now

Display Week’s I-Zone is one of the show’s most exciting events. Attendees pack the I-Zone floor every year to see live demonstrations of emerging display technologies that just might end up making history.

The tally of I-Zone exhibitors has more than doubled from 22 in 2012 to more than 50 in 2018. 2019 may be the I-Zone’s biggest year yet.

The I-Zone provides space for recently commercialized products, prototypes, and proofs of concept for three days free of charge on a dedicated area of the show floor at the premier display exhibition in North America. If you represent a small company, startup, university, government lab, or independent research lab, and have cutting-edge display-related technology to demonstrate, the I-Zone committee wants to see your proposal.

Proposals for demonstrating new displays, input technologies, and innovations in related fields such as lighting and organic electronics will all be considered by the committee. Technologies should be in the pre-product stage or at least have been on the market no earlier than January 2019. Demos that will be shown for the first time in a public forum at I-Zone are especially encouraged. Selections will be based on the novelty, interest, and quality of the prototype to be exhibited as described in the proposal.

If a proposal is accepted, applicants must cover their own expenses, including travel, lodging, and the creation of a table-top exhibit demonstrating their prototypes. A knowledgeable person must be on hand Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, May 14-16, while the I-Zone is open to all attendees, to run the demonstration and answer questions.

The I-Zone is generously sponsored by E Ink.

The deadline for applying to the 2019 I-Zone at Display Week is March 8, 2019.

Check the I-Zone web site for more information and to fill out an application.
