Innolux reported declining sales and shipments in June, with revenue falling 3.3% sequentially and 17.5% year on year to NT$30.3 billion ($976.1 million). In the second quarter, Innolux’s sales were 6.4% lower than Q1 and 15.6% down YoY to NT$93.8 billion ($3 billion), while for the first six months of the year, the company’s sales were trailing the same period of last year by 17.5% at NT$193.9 billion ($6.2 billion).
Panel shipments were also lower in June. The company shipped 18.6 million small and medium-sized panels, down 3.7% sequentially, with large panel shipments decreasing 6.6% month on month to 10.1 million units. The second quarter’s large-sized shipments were 31 million units, a decrease of 2% over 31.6 million units shipped in the previous quarter. Shipments for small and-medium-sized panels were 56.1 million units, down 9.3% over Q1’s shipments of 61.9 million units.
