IFA and ShowStoppers Extend Successful Collaboration

ShowStoppers® and IFA today announced that ShowStoppers will produce the official press events for the next three years at IFA, the global tradeshow for consumer electronics and home appliances that moves markets and inspires buyers.

The companies renewed their exclusive partnership for ShowStoppers events at IFA 2016, 2017 and 2018.

Today’s renewal is the third since IFA and ShowStoppers produced the first press event at IFA — ShowStoppers @ IFA 2008.

The 2015 edition of the press event in September broke all records; 71 industry leaders, innovators and start-up companies introduced new gear, gadget, apps and devices for work, home and play to more than 800 journalists.

“IFA and ShowStoppers have created a successful platform for innovators and industry leaders to meet the press at IFA,” said Jens Heithecker, executive director of IFA. “The event, enables companies to generate news coverage and product reviews, make new business connections, promote brand, and open new markets.”

ShowStoppers will also support the IFA Global Press Conference – an exclusive global media event where IFA and key exhibitors preview their products and strategies for 300 journalists invited from Europe, Asia, the Americas and Asia. The IFA 2016 GPC is scheduled for 17-20 April in Hong Kong and Shenzhen, followed by CE China, a global IFA event designed to be China’s premier trade show for consumer electronics and home appliances brands, in Shenzhen, China, 20-22 April 2016.

IFA 2016 is scheduled for 2-7 Sept. 2016 in Berlin, with two advance press days – 31 August and 1 September. ShowStoppers @ IFA 2016 takes place 1 September on-site at the Berlin Exhibition Grounds.
