The International Committee for Display Metrology has announced a new Automobile Displays Subcommittee. It will be chaired by Michael Becker of Instrument Systems.
This new subcommittee will address many of the performance issues of these displays and test and metrics will be organised in a new chapter in version two of the ICDM standard. Much of this work and direction leverages off the work of the automotive specification work of DFF, the German Automotive OEM and Flat Panel Forum.
