HTC reported its February monthly revenue at NT$4.6 billion ($147 million), which indicated a marginal 0.09% growth over the previous month and a substantial 11.2% growth on an yearly basis. The sales are expected to grow further in the next month due to the launch of HTC U Series smartphone in the US and China besides other Asian markets.
For the first two months of 2017, HTC’s revenue totaled NT$9.3 billion ($297 million), a drop of 12.6% on an yearly basis. However, the company expects its losses for FY17 Q1 to narrow down as well from NT$3.1 billion ($99 million) loss reported in the previous quarter.
