HTC America Inc., a leader in mobile innovation, announces the U.S. release of the new HTC Desire 530 smartphone, with impressive audio and great cameras. Customized with a specially created micro splash effect on the polycarbonate shell, every phone is both personal and unique.
“At HTC we want to bring people the most progressive devices with features customers love,” said Nigel Newby-House, AVP of Product Planning at HTC. “The new HTC Desire 530 is the most unique Desire available – combining our micro splash finish with impressive audio and high quality cameras, all at an incredible price.”
The Desire 530’s 5 megapixel front-facing camera features Auto Selfie and Voice Selfie modes that allow you to snap away without pressing a button. The rear-facing 8 megapixel camera has a built-in BSI sensor that increases the amount of light captured, for great images whatever time of day. Additional features like burst shot and sweep panorama allow you to freeze movement and create professional looking landscape photos, with Google Photos providing storage for pictures and videos.
The Desire 530 comes with HTC BoomSound® profile, coupled with a high quality amp that boosts volume and bass without distorting the sound.
With a 5-inch HD display, the Desire 530 is powered by a Qualcomm® Snapdragon quad-core processor and runs Android 6.0.
The Desire 530 comes in Blue Lagoon, Sprinkle White or Stratus White.
The HTC Desire 530 will be available from prepaid and postpaid U.S. wireless providers T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless, in addition to HTC.com. Each will confirm the colors and model availability.
HTC.com will offer an unlocked version of Sprinkle White for $179 later this month.
