Hannstar’s Sales & Shipments Declined in August

Hannstar Display saw sales and panel shipments fall in August, both month on month and year on year. Sales for the month of NT$1.3 billion ($40.1 million) were 5% lower than July and 27.2% down on August 2014, while cumulative sales so far this year declined 21.3% to NT$12.1 billion ($374 million). Hannstar’s shipments of large panels and HannsG products decreased 35.2% MoM to 32,000 units. Small and medium panel shipments were 24.7% lower than July 2015 at 28 million units.
