Hannstar Display reported a 32.2% year on year fall in sales in September to NT$1.9 billion ($62.6 million), though this represented a 7.7% improvement from August. Total sales in the first nine months of the year reached NT$17.4 billion ($573.4 million), down 30.8% from the same period of 2013. Hannstar shipped 34.7 million small and medium sized panels in September, 15.7% higher month on month, bringing the number of panels shipped so far this year to 264.9 million, down 8.2% from the corresponding period of last year, while shipments of large panels and HannsG products reached 524,000, 37.8% down on the number shipped between January and September 2013.
