Hannstar Display reported a 24.7% drop in sales for 2014, falling to NT$23.7 billion ($748.2 million). In December, sales of NT$2 billion ($63.1 million) were 1.8% lower than November but 5.2% higher than December 2013.
The company’s total panel shipments also declined year on year. Large panel shipments in 2014 fell 33% to 667,000 units, while small and medium sized panel shipments were just 1.5% lower at 374 million. Hannstar shipped 53,000 large panels and HannsG products in December, 22.5% higher than the previous month. Small and medium panel shipments declined 5.7% MoM to 35.8 million.
