Hannstar Display Corporation reported a first quarter net profit of NT$705 million ($23 million) on turnover of NT$5.3 billion ($173.1 million), which compares with a net profit of NT$1 billion ($32.6 million) on turnover of NT$5.6 billion ($182.9 million) in Q1 2014. The company’s small and medium sized panel shipments reached 79.5 million units in Q1, while shipments of large panels and HannsG products totaled 60,000 and 110,00 units respectively.
