Orders in the German electrical industry rose 5.8% YoY in Q2, according to trade association ZVEI. Domestic orders were up 2.7% and orders from abroad rose 7.1%. Customers from Europe increased their orders to Germany by 5.9%, while those from outside Europe ordered 7.8% more than a year ago.
Industry sales throughout Q2 were 56.7 billion – a 3.9% increase.
