BAE Systems and Turkey’s Fotoniks are to work together to develop and deliver aircraft display systems. Fotoniks will work to integrate BAE’s LiteHUD head-up display into the HUD system for the Hürkuş training aircraft as part of the agreement.
Designed using BAE Systems’ patented waveguide technology, LiteHUD is said to be 60% smaller by volume and up to 50% lighter than a conventional HUD.
