Formovie Technology just announced its Cinema Edge 4K ultra-short throw (UST) projector with Google TV and native Netflix support. The projector, priced at $2,199 (€2,199) for pre-orders, will be available on September 10, 2024, for $2,499 (€2,499). The device projects images up to 150 inches with a 0.23:1 throw ratio and supports a 110% Rec. 709 color gamut and a 3000:1 contrast ratio. It offers 1900 ISO lumens of brightness and various viewing modes.
The Cinema Edge includes Google TV. It gives you 60Hz refresh rate, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. The projector also includes Wi-Fi 6, three HDMI 2.1 ports, and two USB 2.0 ports, with support for Dolby Audio and DTS-X technology. The projector is designed for home entertainment, with features like eye protection, customizable settings, and quiet operation at 32dB.
